Another exciting journey.

While we are frizzled, fried and windswept in Cape Town, the rest of the country is having excessive rains. The result of all this being that all dams in the North are fuller that full, like in 112%, 117%.I mean that is fuller than full!! The question is now, "what happens the fuller than full dams" and the answer is that the sluices are opened and that water is releases into the rivers and where do all these rivers flow to, but to the Atlantic ocean, via Upington and past the Augrabies Falls.........and that is where we are heading in the next 36 hours. We are leaving Cape town EARLY on Saturday morning to travel to Augrabies, on a yet to be confirmed route and then we will go and see, hear and experience this magnificent sight.
I will update as we go, hopefully with pics as well.
